The surgical OR nurse just called and the case before Maddie's had to cancel so we've been bumped up to 6 am, surgery at 7:30 am. Wow...hospitals. Apparently they didn't get this news until after 10pm tonight then just got around to calling us. So...here we go! The nurse explained that this was like winning the "lottery"- being bumped up! Maddie's feelin' lucky!!! So now she should be coming out of surgery about the time we originally thought she'd go in. Better get back to bed!

Just up thinking about you guys and reading the latest. We'll be praying for Maddie all day today and waiting for updates. She'll be in good hands tommorrow while she's not in yours! Go Maddie Go! Show them your MATTITUDE! We love you guys!

Maddie~ We'll be praying all morning for you! Be strong sweet girl! Katie~ I was just remembering a sermon I once heard and thought it might be helpful. He said when we have something we need to give to the Lord it's kind of like taking out the garbage. Whether it be sin, anxiety, stress, etc. we need to take the "garbage" out to the curb, leave it there and let the trash man pick it up. So I pray that if you're having any anxiety or nerves this morning you'd be able to take it to the curb and let the Lord take it from you...out of sight out of mind:) Maddie is in the best of Hands!
