Here's some pictures! Bryan spent all day with her off and on yesterday and I got to go see her last night on a "4 hour pass" from U of W. I was able to hold her for a couple of hours and tried nursing...I ended up giving her a bottle, which was fun. She's learning the whole "suck, swallow, breathe" method right now. She's still doing well...but we are keeping in mind that things can change quickly. The nurses and docs reinterate this every time we mention how well she is doing. And, notice the blue???? Just can't escape it! I asked the nurses that she has a pink blankie on today!

What a beautiful baby, no surprises there. I am so glad you got a "pass" to be with her, she looks fun to be with. Love the hat, at least it's pink. You and Brian look great for not sleeping for .... I can't even count that many hours!
Bryan and Katie- She is so precious and the photos brought tears to my eyes. In this chaotic day of Jr Miss, I was happy to see these pictures to start my day. We are praying for all of you and happy to hear you were able to make it to Seattle on time. Hang in there and take it one step at a time.

Congratulations Katie and Brian! She is so cute and tiny. I'm glad to hear she's fiesty already - she'll need that trait in the next little while. It's funny how even with a blue blanket, she looks like an adorable little baby girl. We wish you the best.
So cute! She has such fine little features. Derek keeps talking to Bryan so I'm getting the updates but I feel like I'm going through withdrawals not talking to you, but I know you're busy and have a lot going on over there. I think about you guys all day long. How's your healing process coming along? Probably setting some records with how fast you're up and doing things since you have such great motivation to get healed so you'll be able to focus on her. Love you and miss you. We're so glad to hear she's doing well.

Katie and Bryan,
I am happy to hear that all of you are doing well. Andi let us know of your delivery and about your blog. I've thought about you so much, Katie, and have kept you and Maddie in my prayers since we spoke on the phone. She is so sweet and precious! What a blessing!

Maddie looks like a cutie and you look great! Who would have thought that you would end up having your baby before me. I've been thinking about you guys a lot. I'm glad you've been able to hold her and feed her. I know it can be overwhelming being in the NICU, but keep hanging in there and taking it one day at a time.
